Maine Lobster Stew
Out of stock
Our luxurious lobster stew is made in Maine and made as it should be with simple ingredients and plenty of sweet lobster meat.
Our Maine lobster stew is loaded with fresh lobster meat — MORE than two whole lobsters in every quart (close to 8 oz)! Lobster stew is made locally in York, Maine with fresh cream, milk, real butter, flour, wine sherry. Unlike a traditional Maine lobster stew, ours is more on the creamy side.
This hearty stew is a wonderful start to a clambake, or a satisfying meal in itself.
Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in refrigerator overnight or for several hours. Pour into saucepan or double-boiler and warm over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Do not boil. Remove from heat and serve with your favorite crackers or crusty bread. Do Not Microwave.
Packed in quart (32 oz.) containers and fresh frozen. That makes (4) 8 oz. servings of Maine lobster stew. Order now and hide in your freezer.
Maine stew is great anytime of year, whether it’s for Christmas eve dinner, New Year’s celebration, a romantic dinner, or just because you love lots of lobster!
Traditional Lobster Stew Recipe
Basically, Maine lobster stew has very few ingredients, which makes a classically prepared one so good.
Always use fresh picked lobster meat, butter, a little sweet sherry and finish it with heavy cream and maybe a little salt and pepper!! That is the secret. No potatoes, no onions, nothing else. If you need to add something to make your lobster stew a little more hearty, add nothing else but more lobster meat!!! Oh yes, and remember, lobster stew is even better the second day. Serve with oyster crackers or your favorite crusty bread.
